I am writing to commend one of your employees, Mr. Michael Hu, who has worked closely with me to prepare for a trip to Xi'an next week. Mr. Hu readily answered my questions, efficiently made the changes I requested, and made the entire planning process work very smoothly. We are looking forward to our visit!
We will be in China for several months, at Bin Hai College in Tianjin, and when we wish to arrange further explorations in China we will certainly contact China Highlights first!

I have already covered most of the questions in the survey which I sent through the guide. Let me add a few comments, however;
The terracotta warriors are the highlight of any trip to Xian, perhaps even to China (for me, ranks with the Wall, Forbidden City, the Shanghai Bund at night). I was bowled over by the Famen temple complex, both old and new. The new temple is simply overwhelming in its size and beauty, one of the great religious sites of the world (and I have been to many of them in Europe).
Our time in Xian was packed; we really had very little free time. We would like to have spent some time in the markets, but that can wait.
Our guide arranged for us to attend the Tang Dynasty performance and steamed dumpling Banquet. Marvelous--both the performance and the food. The driver even met us at 10 PM for the ride back to the hotel--quite above and beyond what we expected.
Xian is overwhelming to a first time visitor; we have been to China 3 times in the past, but Xian is a place unlike any of the other cities we have visited and we will return. We currently live near Tianjin, a very modern and wonderful city, but it lacks the cultural value of Xian.
We absolutely would recommend your company to anyone travelling in or to China. The value is outstanding and, based upon this first experience, your employees are first rate.
