Dear Grace,
We’re back home after long time:).
Find our observations below.
The itinerary is the best tour itinerary for us. The highlights are the Tiger Leaping Gorge and Old Town in Lijiang. We guide Lu was very professional, Frank was professional and a great personality, Linda was warm, professional, and charming. The drivers were good too. For the hotel, I think the one in Lijiang was the best.
As per the tips for the future clients, hiking in Tiger Leaping Gorge was really great experience. I suggest to warn travelers that Shangri-la in winter is not only cold outdoor but also indoor. We didn't realize that. Even the 4 start hotel provided limited heating (between 5pm & midnight). The show in Yangshuo was WOW.
The cell phone rental was fine. We felt much safer with a phone although we didn't use it much. We took several thousands of photos and it will take some time until we sort them.
CH service was WOW. You were providing extras and taking care of us so much. That definitely exceeded our expectations. We will definitely recommend you to our friends.
