The tirp was truly remarkable and enjoyable. The most memorable attratcion was the Temple of Heaven. It should be a fixed part of every tour group that goes to Beijing.
Shannon was the most outstanding tour guide since she was more experienced and watched closely that we got what we needed and were comfortable. Thank you for the excellent drivers. Wiith the crazy driving in Beijing and Xi'an, they were safe and courteous.
The hotels were top rated and the breakfasts were superb. The lunches were OK, but not outstanding since we do not eat Chinese food in America that often, and when we do, it is the American style of Chinese food.
The added attractions( the Peking duck restaurant in Beijing, the dumpling and dinner show in Xi'an and cvisiting the 2008 Olympic site in Beijing) were definitely catorgized as a 'WOW'! MY recommendation for those traveling on a tour in the future, would be to visit the city Museum on the first day to understand better the history and the culture of the area.
The phone rental is a must but it should be provided for the entire length of the trip not for just the first week. Buying extra minutes was truly a hassle.
Thank you again for a well organized and outsanding trip. The trip truly exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to be apart of a small tour group and that we coulddecde what we wanted to see.
Sorry for the delay in response. We enjoyed our trip very much, and credit your arrangements and guides for it. They worked well at accommodating so many sites in the number of days we had. The room accommodations were excellent, as well as the transportation to and from. I had many questions about the historical places and items, and appreciated the efforts made to understand me and provide answers. Since I did not have an extensive knowledge of Chinese history and culture, and it had been so many years since my study, it was especially interesting to me. I wish the best for your country's future, and your business in tourism. In Xining,we were very delighted at the varied offerings of western restaurants, and the Tibetan Medicine Museum there. The Peoples park was beautiful and refreshing. I would recommend the trip to others who explore through travels, and would include Xining.
Sincerely, Linda Tabor
