The best thing about our trip I would have to say was the cruise on the Yangtze it was just lovely, wish it could have been for a few days more. The Terracotta Warriors in Xian was also fantastic to and of course the Great Wall, but in all the whole trip was just great and everywhere when we arrived and had to go we got picked up and back to railway station or airport without fail. I can recommend train travel only not in China holiday time but if you have time it is a great way to travel no worries.

It is great to have some time for yourselves and not always be in a group the whole time. Ask your guide where local go and eat we had great fun in some restaurants with the staff many times we were the only foreigner there and the staff thought it was great. First of all, Garry and I would like to thank you very much for your wonderful organisation. Our tour of 4 weeks in China was wonderful and we felt very safe and confident with all your plans. We could not fault the tour that you organised for us in any way at all. We are both 60 yrs old and found the tour guides that you chose all to be helpful and they made our tours very enjoyable and interesting. Thank you again and it was lovely to meet you at last after many months of emails organising our trip.

The hotel in Shanghai was very good. The staff were helpful, the location was wonderful. The tour guide here was very good. Her name was Jenny.

The Yangtze River Cruise was wonderful. We upgraded our room which was better for us but everyone on board was very happy. I would suggest that people book at least 4 star for the cruise. We loved it.

1. The best thing about our trip was China as a whole, it is an amazing Country, the people are extremely friendly and helpful, there are so many fantastic things to see and experience. Every place is different and has its own special qualities. Anyone who is contemplating a trip to China should book now – they certainly would never be disappointed by this amazing Country and race.


2. There is absolutely nothing more that China Highlights could do to improve our trip. We can honestly say that we did not have one thing that we could complain about. Everything worked like clockwork and we were so well looked after. Everything went to time and as in the itinary , it was the best holiday without any problems I have ever had. The places and scenery could not have been selected better, each time I was to meet a guide he/she was there and could not have been nicer people, their English was very good and knew their area extremely well.
