We are back in Shanghai from our wonderful tour which you arranged for us! I wish to thank you and China Highlights for an excellent job of making our tour of China an event to remember. Your tour guides are the best we have ever had! In my questionnaire for you I have rated some of the tour sites as a 3, and I wish to make sure that the fact that the site was a 3 for us, this rating has nothing to do with the tour guide. They explained each site extremely well, the fault has nothing to do with their competence, but with the fact that the site was not very interesting to a foreign western person. I wanted to make sure that my comments on some sites was not a reflection on the tour guides. As I said previously they are the best that we have ever had, and I would want them again on any future tour of China. Thanks again to you and China Highlights Bernard Dilliott

We had a good experience on the boat cruise. If I had to do it again I would arrange a transfer from the hotel or airport to the ship. We arrived on the dock in Chongqing and had a difficult time finding our way to the boat. We were also accosted by an army of escorts offering to carry our luggage. The cruise information said something about meeting at a “hall” but the person we called on the phone number only told us to come to the dock. Separately, the cruise company tried to up sell a suite; they did not appear to be aware of the arrangement whereby we were not to share a room for the third person in the party.

Attractions: Great wall and terracotta army are the most memorable attractions.

Guide: By far was Vivaldi, in Shanghai, for his flexibility, interest, his service, his conversation. He was very good.

Hotels and Meals: All of them were good

Hi Karen:

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful trip we had and the wonderful job you did on organizing it for us. Everything went very smoothly.

Hotels: The hotels were wonderful and were more than a 3 star hotel....very spacious.

Tour Guides: Our guides and drivers were great. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the first guide when we arrived. The other 3 were Coffee, Xin and Linda. Xin was unbelievable and deserves a raise. Linda was also great and Coffee. One day my husband was sick and our agenda had to be changed and Xin was wonderful. She was a big help to my husband.

The cruise was out of this world and so were the views. Accomodations were great and the staff on the boat couldn't do enough for you. I would readily recommend your organization to anyone looking for a trip to China and we would not hesitate to book through you again, if we decide to do another trip. On behalf of myself and family we would like to send along this email to say thank you for making our tour to Xian a truly memorable one.

Tour Guide: Cathy really made our experience in Xian a wonderful one. She deserves great gratitude and praise for her knowledge and patience through our tour. The information that she provided to us as a group of 8 guests from age 5 to 49 was second to non. When my 5 year old daughter could tell me after our tour about how they found the historical site of the Terra Cotta Warriors I have to say that Cathy is to thank for that knowledge. She has obviously takes great pride in her job and we became close to her and hope to keep in touch as time goes on. I have many expat friends in Suzhou that will be highly recommended to use China Highlights and especially request Cathy as a tour guide when on tour in Xian. We are off to Beijing this weekend and hope for the same expiernce as shared with Cathy in Xian.
