I am still in Asia -- spending 10 days in Thailand. Thanks you so much for arranging the tour for me. Everything went perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed the efforts of your staff and the arrangements. There was sufficient flexibility, given that I was "solo", that adjustments could be made "on the fly" and timing was not as critical as it might be for a group. The accommodations were very good, although I would have preferred a more "wandering" friendly site in Shanghai -- at the other cities I could go out and there was a very "busy" and "bright" environment. The Ocean Hotel, is very nice facility. Also, on that point, I mentioned in my surveys that (and this is a reflection of my personal approach) efforts might be made to assure that individuals or very small (fewer than 4?) groups be timed to arrive at "shopping" destinations with larger groups.

Dear Leon,
First let me say that our trip to China was GREAT! I expected all arrangement to run smoothly, and save a few "hickups", they did.

1. HOTELS - all hotels were as promised of 5 star class, and very well chosen. We were happy with ALL OF THEM.

2. ARRANGEMENTS - We were always met by our guide and driver, except for twice (these are the "hickups" I was talking about, but we were "compensated" by the local office for these inconveniences with dinner AND free foot massage. This, by the way, was beyond our expectations. The first time was in Guilin, when we were not met at the airport - but, I knew it was the fault of the Xian office who did not notify Guilin of our advanced flight (our flight was changed to an hour and a half early). BUT - the local guide, Forrest, came to meet us at the hotel (as we took a taxi from the airport) and offered us a free foot massage. Hello Ms. Jean Fu,
We have returned from our trip to China. Your service was excellent; the tickets were waiting for us at the hotel when we arrived in Shanghai and the airline flight to Ningbo was comfortable and on time. We only spent six days in China and that was not enough. We will be planning to return for a longer holiday some day so that we may have more time to see and learn more about your wonderful country and the people.
We have attached two pictures. One is a photo of the Saturday shopping crowd at Yu Yuan. The other one is a snap that I took out of the taxi window of some "skyscrapers" in Pudong.

I have been back now and I really had a wonderful time in china. Thank you for all you had done for us.

I recently travelled to China on a Chinahighlights organized tour from Australia visiting Beijing, Xian, Giulin and Shanghai in October 2005. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip but in particular I would like to commend Alex Guan who was our guide in Giulin. Alex was knowledgeable and accommodating but most of all was extremely personable. Alex was by far the best guide we had on the tour and made our stopover in Giulin most enjoyable.

Thanks for your help. You helped me getting some airlines tickets for a trip in China in September.
