Nancy's Feedback on 11-Day China Tour

I would like to give you a report regarding Sunny's ability to do an excellent job. We booked a trip to China and Tibet several months in advance for Mrs. Hogsgrom and Mrs. Heinz, they arrived Beijing on 10 May and departed on the 20Th, of this year. From beginning to end Sunny remained extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and very punctual. We sent her countless emails, requesting information, and she would answer immediately. We had never done business with China Highlights, and since you don,t have a US representative, we were rather afraid to send funds to a company we never heard of. However, Sunny made us very comfortable in every way, and that was the only reason we decided to go ahead with the booking using your company. Another issue is that if you don,t have a CST association in California our clients are not protected if your company would vanish. You can imagine what a chance we took, but we felt very comfortable she would not let us down. In short, I must say, we booked with China Highlights because we trusted Sunny. She is by far one of the very best agents we ever dealt with. We never met her, but her wonderful personality and professionalism came through her emails. The clients even asked me if they could contact her directly to thank her for her services. I have not been able to get a report from the clients yet. However, I had a chance to speak with both of them briefly and they said, they had a wonderful trip.
I know they have some suggestions, not regarding Sunny , when I get their report, I will let you know. We were disappointed with the train accommodations, as after we were confirmed the soft sleeping accommodations on the train, they were changed, we fully understand that was beyond Sunny's and your company's control, I wish there was a way that once accommodations on such a long train ride were confirmed, we would not have to be disappointed. Clients made the best of it and we all realized, it was not Sunny's fault, in fact she had been honest with us, from the beginning, how difficult it is to get these reservations confirmed, because of the way the tickets are distributed.
Here in the US clients hold Travel Agencies responsible for the delivery of services third party's deliver, so you can imagine what pressure we work under, so you can imagine how careful we must be when choosing tour operators. Thanks to Sunny 's ability to make us trust your company, we booked with China Highlights.

I wanted to take this opportunity to especially thank YOU for making Nancy and my trip to China so wonderful. We really felt that our guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We especially were most grateful for the bottles of water that welcomed us each day. Our car doors were always opened for us and our packages carried. All of our questions were answered when we toured the cities. The restaurants had a local feeling and we always were taken to a Western toilet if needed.
Please know that at the airports and train stations we were asked by fellow travelers for suggestions about tours. We highly recommended China Highlights as a superior tour group. You might want to include some of your business cards in our welcome bag. I would certainly have passed them out when asked by travelers. We did enjoy getting the pillow and especially the hand sanitizer.
Our time in Tibet was especially memorable. Our guide even carried my heavy purse and always made sure I had a place to sit when I grew tired. Thank you for our permit and arrangements making it possible to visit this mysterious part of our world. Our hotel was perfect and it's museum a wonder to behold.
