Hi Karen,
I wanted to send you a note and thank you so much for all your efforts. We had a terrific time on our trip in China, and the China Highlights portion was a huge reason for that. Everything went so well, and all the segments were amazing in their own way. My only suggestion is that you strongly encourage travelers against entering Hong Kong via train. Our experience in the Shenzen train station (and entering Hong Kong at that point) was very nerve- wracking. Even so, the trip was great, overall!

Here are my comments on the trip. We had a fabulous time--it was the perfect way to see China! We thoroughly enjoyed the entire thing! Thank you so much for all of your help. Your prompt responses and useful information really made me feel comfortable as I was planning and ordering our trip through China Highlights. For most of us, the Forbidden City was an unforgettable and mesmerizing place. The architecture was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our guide's explanations.This is a difficult question to answer because we thought that all of our guides were wonderful. They were all so accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable. But if we had to choose one guide as the most outstanding, it would be our Beijing guide, Samantha. She was so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, and she seemed to have particularly good timing when she explained things and helped us move throughout the tour. Good Morning Elaine,
The most memorable attraction was the roasted dog hanging from the meat hook at the farmer's market. It wasn't on the itineary, but along with the smell of fish, meats, and human bodies in a confined and humid environment it made for an memorable experience. The reed flute caves, the cruise along the Li river, and the cooking class was very enjoyable. The tai chi class would have been better if conducted in an enclosed and air conditioned gym. Our most outstanding tour guide,Vivian, was the only tour guide and she was very nice and professional. The Bravo was satisfactory. The paradesa had good location and the layout was nice, but the bathroom had only a shower stall that did not keep the water inside. They also had problems with suddenly losing power to that part of the hotel. Thank you for your assistance, I had an enjoyable time on the tour.

Dear Candy,
I just got back from China late on Friday. The whole trip was wonderful, in spite of the illness. I want to thank you for all your help in arranging it. I also want to tell you how great Lily and Leo were during my stays in Guilin and Yangshuo, especially when I was sick. The activities were well chosen and I wish I could have stayed longer.
