I am writing to provide you with some feedback on the tour that your agency booked for my son and I (Christopher Davis and Matthew Forell-Davis) with Victoria Cruises, your tour code A-0320David-2.

I was very pleased with 'Alice," the local CITS tour guide who met us at the airport and took us to the Holiday Inn where we met the Victoria Cruise representatives. Her English very good and she was friendly and welcoming. She was aware of the low river level problem and explained it to us before we reached the hotel. I will recommend her to my professional colleagues in China who need a local tour guide in Chongqing. Although I was upset about the situation, I was very pleased with their response. Because of low water levels on the Yangtze, the ship was unable to come up river as far as Chongqing and Victoria Cruises made very nice arrangements for us to stay overnight at the Holiday Inn. In each case, I felt like I was being greeted by a family member or dear friend because the warmth, care and enthusiasm could only be equaled by someone special. She made sure our desire to see the magic hills of Guilin was accomplished from the best position on the boat. Her relentless enthusiasm and energy helped us see everything in Guilin. Dear Victor:

Just some feed back from Tepler.

1.She said all her guides were GREAT. She really liked Tiger in Guilin, and said Max in Beijing was really good, and said the driver in Mongolia, even though he could not speak English was very nice with the kids.

2.She said Mongolia was fascinating--she loved the place and like Hohat and the living museum.

3.In Beijing she really liked the fact that Max was flexible--he let them eat in smaller restaurants and took them to the Moo Tien Yu section of the wall. She said this was GREAT for kids--the cable car up--them the walk along the top, then the sled ride all the way down!!! Sounds like fun--we should probably use this spot for all our families--what do you think???

4.She loved Guilin and liked being able to walk around and see all the Chinese families out and about. She liked the tea plantation. She LOVED Yangshao--the Paradise Hotel was GREAT with super views--they enjoyed the pool. They took another boat up the ...more
