China Red Tourism and Cultural Festival

Since 2006 Hunan has held the China Red Tourism and Cultural Festival every year. Now the festival is a very important red tourism event in Hunan. The festival has various activities to convey red revolutionary culture. It utilizes the red (Chinese communist) attractions in Hunan as a stage to promote tourism and boost the local economy.
Activities during the festival includes large-scale red culture and art performances, a business negotiation and deal signing ceremony, a red self-drive tour, a group wedding (100 new couples will hold their weddings together), painting and calligraphy contests, and a Hunan food festival.
