Lamma is an eclectic melting-pot of arty culture and Chinese tradition. Due to its proximity to town, it is one of the most adored weekend getaways. The journey starts at the Central Pier; there you take a boat around 30 minutes to Lamma Island that giving us good views of southern Hong Kong Island. You will then get off the boat at Sok Kwu Wan which is a small village on the north-east part of Lamma Island. Passing beautiful old feng shui woods we follow a lovely coastal path on this peaceful traffic-free island. The hiking will last a time of 3.5 hours, from Sok Kwu Wan to Yung Shue Wan. You will see the numerous fishing boats, platforms and fish breeding nets along the trial. A walk between the two villages is a great way to break away from the hustle and bustle of Central, Hong Kong Island.
