Stanley
Stanley is 20 km away from Central District in the south of Hong Kong Island. Around a hundred years ago, Stanley was a fishing village with the largest population. However, is has been developed into a prosperous place just like Hong Kong.
It takes about 25 minutes to go to the beach from the village by foot. On the Stanley Avenue near the Stanley Bay, there are many restaurants and bars where foreigners and Hong Kong people often relax themselves on weekends.
Stanley Market is the famous shopping place in Stanley. And the Meili Building beside the sea is Victoria-time architecture.
How to get there: Walk outside the EixtA of Central Station and reach the Export Trading Plaza, continue to the general bus station to take No.6, 6A or 260 to there.
Opening time for tourists: About 9am to 6 pm
