Built in 1900 and refurbished in 2000, the 5-star Beijing Hotel is set at the corner of Wangfujing Street and Chang An Avenue. Adjacent to one of Beijing's major shopping areas, the hotel is also just minutes away from the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and other cultural and historical sites.

Overall Beijing Hotel is good. Location is just at city center. It maybe an old five-star hotel and looked a bit out of date. But it is nice, room is large and very comfortable.

I booked Beijing Hotel for meeting. Location is good, but difficult to call a taxi. Room was old but tidy. Service average.
