The Beijing Guangzhou Hotel was first opened in 1999, and refurbished in 2004. It is located on Chang'an Avenue, close to the famous Xidan commercial area. A four-star hotel, the Beijing Guangzhou offers permanent English-speaking staff, express check-in and check-out, currency exchange, automobile rental, and an on-site medical clinic.

The Beijing Guangzhou possesses 283 standard guest rooms, executive rooms, deluxe guest rooms and suites, and presidential suites. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the Chinese or western style decorations provide a luxurious, cultured environment. Each room features air conditioning, television and movies, a safe, and broadband Internet access.

Hotel looks old, but tidy and clean.Convenient location, close to shops, restaurants. The Cantonese morning tea is delicious. Staff are nice and helpful.

Location is good. There is a 24 hours McDonalds right opposite the hotel. The building itself is also connected to a shopping complex. Sunway and taxis are easily available. Room is clean, bed relatively small.
