Opened in 2004, the Kempinski Hotel Chengdu is located in the affluent south of the city and is 20 minutes drive from the airport and 5 minutes drive from the central business district. It is closed to Chengdu International Exhibition Center. The Kempinski Hotel Chengdu boasts 483 guestrooms, including 45 suites and an executive floor. All the rooms are furnished in a contemporary style and have glass writing desk and seating area and modern bathrooms. Each guest room and suite is elegantly appointed ranges from 34 ssm to 230 sqm. There are several individual and outstanding restaurants, offering specialties from around the globe. They include an Asian Noodle Bar, a Paulaner restaurant and deli, a Cantonese restaurant, a teahouse and a lobby lounge. Banqueting and meetings facilities for up to 800 people are also provided. Furthermore, a health club with modern fitness equipment, a karaoke room and boutiques are available for recreation.
