Opened in 1976 and refurbished in 2001, Guilin Lijiang Waterfall Hotel is located in downtown Guilin. Featuring an artificial waterfall that flows full-face down from its top, the hotel is situated just behind Shan Lake, with the Li River flowing to the east and Elephant Hill Park to the south.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The location is great - next to a charming walking street filled with shopping and food. The breakfast is very good, served in a restaurant overlooking the atrium. We had a room overlooking the front of the hotel with a spectacular view of the lake and park below, the river, part of the city, pagodas. The fitness and pool areas close at 7pm - I find that very disappointing since most tourists would be touring and dining til much later - and may want to end the day with a swim and hot tub. Overall, though, I would highly recommend this hotel.Hotel Amenities
