The Sheraton Guilin is a 5-star hotel which has been in Guilin since 1988 and was recently refurbished to keep up its standards. This hotel is conveniently located on the Li River’s western bank. It is also very close to Center Square, “Two Tower” Lake, and Elephant Trunk Hill.
This hotel has 408 rooms which range from Standards to Suites. Each room comes with the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, complimentary broadband Internet access, LCD flat screen televisions, and outlets for guests’ personal computers. The suites have views of the nearby Li River as well as Guilin's mountains.
Within the hotel, there is a bar, a quaint little coffee shop, and four restaurants which serve Korean, Guilin, Sichuan, Cantonese, and western cuisine. The location and service at this hotel were good. Up to western standards. River walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, climb up to see the old stone pagoda. Also the Wine Culture museum, where you can buy osmanthus or rice wine. Plenty of choices for shopping and eating nearby. Room is clean but kind of small.

A very nice hotel with comfortable well sized rooms. Very clean and well maintained. Restaurant was very busy. Buffet not was I expected.

Hotel is well located, just beside the Li River. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The only problem is that a bit noisy at night.

one reason I picked sheraton was the in-room safes, but in-room safes were not bocted down,
