First opened in 1970 and renovated in 2009, the Imperial Hotel is located on the Nathan Road in Hong Kong city center, surrounded by large shopping malls and entertainment places and within walking distance to the Star Ferry and Space Museum.

Location was our major reason for booking this hotel, near avenue of star, star ferry, mtr station in 3mins, bus stop just right in front hotel door. International supermarket can be found just across the street, and lots of 7-11 nearby. Ladies market, 3 mtr stations away, while night market 1mtr station away(Jordan). Rooms are clean and service each day is excellent. Not good for families as rooms are not big in size. There is running hot and cold water, the towels are changed everyday, and the rooms are clean every time we get back from a long day of sightseeing. Some of the staff were young and very accommodating when we asked questions and when I requested for an adaptor for my laptop and phone chargers.

Hotel location is very convenience for traveler, located on the Tsin Sha Tsui MTR station which can reached by Airport Bus number A21. A few steps from hotel to many attraction and shopping area. (iSquare,The One,Mirama, Harbour City, sogo). In walk distance to Avenue of Stars, Star Ferry Piers, HK Space Museum, Cultural Centre. Cleanliness is acceptable. In room got some smell but not really big deal.

It was very close to the subway and as easy place to find with public transit. It was closer to all the higher end hotels that HK is known for and very close to the pier area. It's a bit of a walk from the Women's Outdoor Market but still very reachable.
