Tangkou Town, one kilometer from the south mountain gate of Yellow Mountain, has many hostels and guesthouses at reasonable prices, but they are less equipped than hotels in the Tunxi District. Three- to five-star hotels are available on Yellow Mountain. Their facilities may not be competitive with hotels of the same rating in the cities, but their locations are great and the views are spectacular.
