First opened in 1998 and refurbished in 2005, the Cactus Resort Sanya is located on a private beach on Yalong Bay. It is about 18 km from the Railway Station, 25 km from city center and 32 km from Sanya International Airport.

There are 600 guestrooms and suites in the Cactus Resort Sanya, all of which open onto balconies. Guestrooms include central air conditioning, safes, minibars and direct-dial telephones. Guests can take advantage of the complimentary wired high- speed Internet access. The in-room satellite TV offers premium channels and pay-per-view movies.
