Originally built as a nine-storey mansion in 1934, the Shanghai New Asia Hotel is a European-style hotel. It was once the largest hotel in the Far East and has been a landmark of downtown Shanghai for the past 70 years.

Situated close to The Bund, the New Asia Hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the 'First Street of China', Nanjing Road, and 15 minutes by taxi to the Yuyuan Garden. A 45-minute taxi ride takes you to Pudong international Airport.
