This hotel is right in the middle of the shopping and eating action, the train station is right across the road. Everything is pretty close to get to. The bund view is down the road, approx a 3 block walk. The room and bed are very comfortable. View from room is great as the People square and french concession area looks beautiful from atop. The reception staff are well trained with good proficiency in english. Checking in is very efficient and fast and friendly. Assistance are offered without having to ask and there is a proactive attitude of the staff. Room service is excellent with the fruits always replenish everyday and chocholates strategically placed on the bed every day.Good quality chocs. Breakfast was plentiful with so many different choices it was hard to know what to have.

This Radisson is in a great location for downtown Shanghai. Nanjing rd with all it's shops and huge shopping centres is right in front of you. It is only a 15 minute walk to the bund to see the famous Shanghai skyline. There are many, many expensive designer shops. People's square is also very accessible from the hotel. There is a shopping centre attached to the hotel but it was generally all top designer, expensive brand shops. Had a deluxe room this time. Room was spacious, with a good view of Shanghai city skyline. Very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Service great. Check-in was hassle-free, and the concierge is very helpful with luggage storing and hailing a cab for us during peak hour to get us to the airport. The swimming pool is very big and kept in pristine condition.

The location couldn't be better - across from People's Square and the metro, a nice walk over to Xintiandi, and right by the main shopping street. Taxis are plenty and cheap. Rooms nice, clean and comfortable. Rooms were quite spacious and the batchroom itself was huge as well. The mattress was just perfect, very comfortable (may be the best mattress we had so far). Breakfast was plentiful with so many different choices it was hard to know what to have. Here again the price was quite expensive although if you eat as much as we did you can get your money’s worth and skip lunch! Will definitely go back there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone because of its location. The price we paid for the room alone was definitely good value and you don't have to eat and drink there as there are plenty of other options nearby.
