I loved my stay at Grand Mercure’s hotel in Hongqiao, Shanghai because my hotel room was beautifully-decorated and truly comfortable. The room service was great and all the hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. I was especially impressed with the reasonable prices of their rooms. For a sum that wasn’t too heavy on the pocket, I was able to stay for two nights in a King suite. It’s definitely a bargain because the room had amenities like a small kitchen and a large bathroom with a bathtub. It was also adorned with modern furnishings, lending the room a contemporary feel. I was also very pleased that they served delicious breakfast for all their guests. I definitely recommend this hotel and won’t mind coming back when I’m in Shanghai again!

My friends and I spent four nights in Grand Mercure Hongqiao Hotel because we were visiting high school classmates in Shanghai. We were very pleased with our choice because it really was a 5-star hotel. The lobby was very modern and beautiful, with a café to welcome you and refresh you. Our room was well-equipped with all the basic amenities we need. Everything in the room was clean and functioning well. The breakfast had a huge selection, which I personally enjoyed because it’s my favorite meal of the day. The staff was very efficient with our requests; they were very helpful and congenial. I personally think their laundry service was great value for money. Overall, I would recommend the Grand Mercure Hotel in Hongqiao, Shanghai to my friends and family.
