Opened in 1996 and redecotated in 2003, the Gyalthang Dzong Hotel is located at the City Center of Shangrila, Yunnan Province. The hotel is of Tibet lama temple style. Surrounding scenic spots are include Wufeng Mountain, Tancheng Square and Guishan Park. It is 6km away from the Shangrila Airport, which takes 10 minutes by taxi.

Hotel recommended by your refuse very poor location.Hotel in Tibetan city well located but heating very bad.Hotel in Chinese city well located acceptable even if it is old hotel and bathroom just clean.
