Kunming attractions include The Stone Forest, West Hill and Yunnan Minority Village which exhibits the province’s 25 ethnic minorities. The spring city also has 3 museums listed below, 3 temples, 2 parks, a cave, a lake, and some spectacular countryside, including Dongchuan Red Land and the Yuanyang Terraced Fields.
Kunming is the gateway to Yunnan Province and fittingly the city’s attractions reflect the province’s scenic and ethnic renown. If China’s mountain scenery and minority culture interest you, but you don’t want to go somewhere too remote or extreme climatically, then our Kunming tours should suit you.
I plan go to Kunming in Dec 25- 29 , any recommendation to plan my trip and the weather will be good in late Dec.
Hi Moniza, Kunming is a warm place for visitors all the year around, so late December should not be a problem.
Places to visit: the Stone Forest, Green Lake Park, the Dragon Gate on Xishan, Yuantong Temple, Dongchuan Red Land, etc.
If you need any tour service, please feel free to contact me via: firstname.lastname@example.org

We''re planning a trip to Yunnan. We have about a week. What do you recommend for that time period, and do you think the rain will be an issue? We''re going between August 12 and 24.
We have a 8 days tour package for Yunnan area, you'll visit Kunming, Dali, Lijinag and Shangri-la, please go to http://www.chinahighlights.com/tour/kunmingtour/km-3/. Rain will not a problem as the tour is a normal tour, no hiking or biking. we'll arrange a driver and vehicle for you.
I will be in Kunming/Dali from Jan. 22-28. Should I expect cold and rain?
Yes, the forecast is calling for cold and a mix of sun and rain. Carry a raincoat and perhaps an umbrella along on the trip. It is not uncomfortable cold during the day, however at night it drops to a cold temperature. guest Replied on 2011-01-13
What half day tours can I take from Spring City Golf resort? Would like to play one round of golf and then do some sight-seeing.
What attractions are within 30 minutes of the golf resort?
The Dragon Gate carved on the cliff is close to the Spring City Golf Club. Half day will be enough. You can take taxi there. If you need us to make the arrangements, the cost is US$65 per person based on a group with at least 2 people including guide service, vehicle transfers and entry fees & one way cable car ride.
Email me if you need us to make arrangements: email@example.com Cindy Feng Replied on 2010-09-17
