Located in the picturesque Dianchi National Holiday Resort in Kunming, Yunnan Nationality Museum covers an area of 130,000 square meters, the biggest nationality museum in China. It collects more than 40, 000 pieces (or sets) of cultural relics of ethnic minorities, which are rich in its historical, scientific and artistic values. It has the folk clothing of the widest range in China. With 16 exhibition series referring to folk, clothing, handcraft, art, ecology, ancient book and wonder stone, it shows to visitors the ecological environment, religious practice, culture and cultural relics of ethnic minorities.
