You can enjoy the tour to Liuzhou all the year round. Liuzhou belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone with no freezing in winter and no heat in summer. It rains a lot. When summer comes, it is moist and often rains cats and dogs. You are then suggested to take an umbrella with you, and a moistureproof coat is also necessary. In winter, it is dry with small rainfall. The average low temperature is 7ºC to 10ºC, and thus you don’t have to wear too many clothes.
Furthermore, there are numbers of festivals in Liuzhou, such as the Geyu Festival on the third day of March, Folk Song Festival on the fifteenth day of August, Dragon Boat Race on the fifth day of May and Bizarre Stone Exhibition on December. There are quite a lot of traditional festivals at the six counties in Liuzhou that are of local features. Festivals are held almost every month at Rongshui Miao Autonomous Region and Sanjiang Dong Autonomous Region, and therefore, tourists can fully feel the local folk customs.
