Chengdu Picasso Exhibition Opens Soon

The Chengdu Picasso Exhibition is scheduled to open to the public from February 28 to May 1. It is the second station of the Picasso Exhibition Tour of China, following the Shanghai Picasso Exhibition which started last October.

The Chengdu Picasso Exhibition will display 56 of Picasso’s original works (including 46 paintings, 7 sculptures, and 1 wood print) and 50 photographs based on Picasso’s artistic career. All of these works are brought in from the National Picasso Museum of Paris, and are exhibited according to time sequence.

Exhibition Essentials

  • When: 10am – 5pm, February 28 – May 1, 2012
  • Where: Chengdu Museum of Contemporary Art, West Building, C1 Tianfu iPark, Tianfu Avenue, Gaoxin District, Chengdu (成都高新区天府大道天府软件园C1西楼成都当代美术馆)
  • Transportation: Take bus 84, 102, 115 or 118, and get off at New Conference and Exhibition Center (新会展中心)
  • Admission Fee: 100 yuan, 160 yuan, and 320 yuan (child (under 1.5m or 4'11'', adult, and family ticket respetively)
