Fuel surcharges for all domestic routes decreased by 10 yuan from December 5th, 2012. This applies to all to China's airline companies.

Now passengers who take domestic flights less than or equal to 800 km flight segment in China pay a fuel surcharge of 70 yuan (previously 80 yuan), and 130 yuan (previously 140 yuan) for over 800 km.

This adjustment also applies to children (2–12 years old). A child now pays 30 yuan (previously 40 yuan) for a flight within 800 km, and a 60 yuan (previously 70 yuan) surcharge for a flight beyond 800 km.
