Discount Canceled for MU Trains
Ticket price of the Multiple Unit trains bound for Shanghai, Hangzhou, Changsha from Nanchang will resume its original face value from September 1st. It is the first time to sell full price tickets of MU trains since the April 18'railway speedup.
The reduced price of the train from Nanchang station to South Shanghai station is adjusted from 273 yuan (first class), 228 yuan (second class) to 303 yuan (first class), 253 yuan (second class), to Hangzhou is adjusted from 215 yuan (first class), 179 yuan (second class) to 239 yuan (first class), 199 yuan (second class), to Changsha is adjusted from 148 yuan (first class), 124 yuan (second class) to 156 yuan (first class), 130 yuan (second class).
The decision to change ticket price is based on the passenger flow. The Railway Bureau will increase the discount rate when passenger flow is low and cancel discount when it reaches peak.
