Daily Flights between Kunming and Lhasa Launched
On July 8 2005 China Eastern Airlines launched its first flight to Tibet, becoming the 3rd airlines operating flights in Tibet after Air China and China Southern Airlines.
The flights will operate daily, with Boeing B737-700 airliners, leaving Kunming in the early morning, and return to Kunming in the early afternoon. The schedule details are:
