The Weight of Baggage Limited when Flying inside China
From May 1st, 2008, the maximum Carry-on baggage allowance for each tourist class passenger is limited within one piece of 5kg when they flying inside China. 2 pieces are allowed for the first-class passengers but the weight is also limited within 5 kilograms. Each piece should be within 20x40x55cm. Carry on baggage in excess of the limit is subject to an excess baggage fee and must be carried as checked baggage.
The regulation is made by CAA of China.
Tourists are advised to confirm the weight of baggage before they go to the airport.
