2010 China Public Holidays Announced April 4, 2014

The public holidays of China in 2010 are concentrated on the three following months: January, May and October. Chinese New Year 2010 (the Spring Festival) begins at the same day as the Valentine's Day on Feb. 14th.  In China, 2010 is the year of tiger(虎).

Guangzhou Hosts the Seventh International Automobile Exhibition February 11, 2014

On Nov 24th, the annual China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition (GIAE) was opened to the public in Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong Province, and the exhibition will last till Nov 30th. During the exhibition period, there are about 70 manufacturers showing over 700 vehicles, and there are more than 600 parts and accessory manufacturers taking part in the show.

Heavy Snow and Rain Affects Beijing Transportation February 10, 2014

Early in the morning of Nov. 11, heavy snow embraced Beijing, and suddenly the city was covered by white snow everywhere. Four to seven centimeters of snow is expected in the next four days with a temperature drop of over 10°C (50°F).

Bullet Trains to Start Running From Qingdao to Wuhan by Nov. 11 November 10, 2009

On November 11, 2009, there will be Bullet trains to start running from Qingdao to Hankou (in Wuhan City, Hubei Province) on November 11th. The train number is D352/3. By then, the whole journey from Qingdao to Hankou will take only 11 hours, and it will be about 10 hours shorter than now. It’s the first berth bullet train to run in Wuhan.

Hot Air Balloon Killed Four Dutch Tourists in Yangshuo February 11, 2014

A hot-air balloon crashed and exploded on 14 October near Yangshuo, killing four Dutch tourists and injuring three people. Yangshuo is a southern China resort town famous for karst scenery.
