New Passenger Trains for Qinghai-Tibet Railway

The Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company will add four new pairs of passenger trains from April 1, 2009.
The designations of the four pairs of trains are: 1210/1209 between Xining and Xi'an, K624/621 between Wuchang and Xining, T214/213 between Xining and Lanzhou, and K174/171 between Xining and Qingdao. In addition, the designation the train between Xining and Zhengzhou has been changed from 1102/1101 to K890/889.
In addition, the train service between Xining and Zhengzhou, and Xining and Qingdao will run daily instead of on alternate days as before.
