After the strong temperature eclipse and heavy snows in Beijing in the beginning of November and December, temperature continues to plunge to about -15 °C (5 °F) this weekend (December 22nd and 23rd), which approaches the lowest (-15.2 °C ) over the past 30 years.

According to weather report of December 22nd, the temperature is between -3 °C and -13 °C, alongside strong chilly wind, and even blizzards in Beijing. On Sunday, it will plummet to -15 °C.

Most areas in North China, such as Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia, are also influenced by the cold front with temperature drop by 6 °C to 10 °C.

Note: China Highlights reminds you it is necessary to dress like an Eskimo when you go outdoors. Anti-skid shoes are needed for snowing days. If you have any difficulties during your trip to China, China Highlights will try our best to help you as much as possible.
