2007 China International Travel Mart Inauguration

The 2007 China International Travel Mart was inaugurated in Kunming, in southwest China's Yunan province on November 1st. This is the fourth time for Kunming to hold that occasion. The Mart was organized by China National Tourism Administration, Yunnan Provincial People's Government and General Administration of Civil Aviation of China. 

The opening celemony created a feast for eyes with songs and dancing from the  . minority girls and boys in special and colorful clothes.

The travel mart has become an important opportunity for enhancing communication between China and the world in the area of tourism. It will become a great force in developing the travel model of the modern world.

China prime premier Wuyi telegraphed for the mart. She said that tourism is the bridge of world peace and friendship. The continuous development of world and China tourism will enhance the friendship and relationship of the world people. It will continue making great contributions for the world prosperous and harmony. Since its establishment 9 years ago, the mart has become a professional and international meeting which attracted more and more countries to take part in it. It has become one of the bigges and most important travel exhibition in Asia. 

With the development of China-ASAEN, the communication and trade of China will become more and more frequent. The travel mart will provide great business opportunity and chance for the development of Yunnan and China.
