The Silk Road town Turpan is planning Performance of "Sleepless Turpan"
The well-known glittering Silk Road town-Turpan is preparing a grand night show called "Sleepless Turpan" to display the region's remarkable savor through stage. The performance is expected to be staged soon and travelers will be afforded another more opportunity to experience the unique flavor and history of that frontier town after its completion.
The performance based on the indigenous culture intends to create a historically rich ambience through a series of historical events of the Silk Road, the monk Xuzang's journey to the west and characteristic local songs and dance in the visual background of Grape Valley and Flaming Mountain.
The local government and its people are working tireless to make this performance the most attractive cultural program, prominent directors, makers having been invited to partake, huge sum of money as much as 60,000,000 invested in it.
