First Lady Obama Is a China Tourist

U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama is on a three-city tour of China (March 20–26, 2014).

Michelle Obama arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport on March 20, 2014. She's traveling with her two daughters, Sasha and Malia, and her mother, Marian Robinson.

The First Lady's Itinerary

The American First Lady is also accompanied by the Chinese First Lady, Peng Liyuan. The party is visiting Beijing, Xi'an, and Chengdu.

The First Lady is focusing on education and cultural exchange. 20 activities were scheduled. These include making public speeches in Peking University and a Chengdu high school.

Her itinerary includes these famous attractions: the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, Xi'an Ancient City Wall, and Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base.
