CITS Guilin Invited to Attend the 5th UNWTO/PATA International Forum

CITS Guilin was invited to attend the 5th UNWTO/PATA International Forum on Tourism Trends and Outlook, which was held from October 26 to 28 in Guilin. The forum was held to provide an annual platform for governments, industry and academics to share information, to analyze the potential impacts on tourism from global and regional trends and to map out the appropriate course of actions. The forum has been successfully held four times previously in Guilin, and Guilin will be the permanent venue of the forum.

The forum was organized by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the PATA in collaboration with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Guilin Municipal Government. One hundred scholars and experts in the tourist industry participated in the forum, including guests from the United States, Britain, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Macau, and the general manager of CITS Guilin: James Jing was also invited to attend the forum.
