Inspection Trip along the Silk Road from Angela and Lissy

Kashgar, an oasis on the ancient Silk Road Angela and Lissy-2 of our most experienced travel advisors have just returned from their silk adventure tour. They have been exploring new sights to add to our tours and refining our existing packages. Their new knowledge will allow they to give much better advice to our customers about the many cities and sight in the part of China which is still a mystery to many people.

"The tour was fantastic"according to Angela and Lissy. They traveled across two of the largest provinces (Gansu and Xinjiang) in vast northwest China, covering the key attractions in that region. The experience allowed a brief taste of China's culturally rich and beautiful western areas.

They started their trip from Guilin and after traveling 3 day by train they reached the start of their ancient Silk Road Odessy. Over the next 2 weeks they visited Lanzhou and its surrounding areas, then Jiayuguan, Dunhuang, Urumqi, Turpan and Kashgar.

China is vast, intriguing and intricate. Many Chinese have not experienced this unique area and are fascinated by the glorious culture and unbelievable natural scenery."It was terrific to see people living a completely different lifestyle from us and the landscape along our way offered a great contrast to that of the fertile southern China"Angela Said: "I think that was the highlights of our tour"

Angela and Lissy agreed "I have gained so much from this trip and I feel much better equipped to be able give advice to my clients and I understand some of the unusual questions much better. I have already started to design better tours for my clients."
