Updated: June 10, 2009 | Clicks: 137

To strengthen the staff's consciousness about the differences between China and the western countries, Staff training on "Eastern and Western Thought" has been given by Gavin (a marketing manager of China Highlights) on June 10th, 2009.

Gavin gave the training from the following parts:

1. Differences between eastern and western thoughts (8 items)
1) Goal: harmony VS truth
2) Attitude: accepting VS questioning
3) People: society VS individual
4) Perception: holistic VS focused

2. Influences of the different thoughts (5 items)
1) Confucianism VS Rationalism
2) Buddhism VS Christianity

Thanks to Gavin, the staff of China Highlights have gained much knowledge about the differences between eastern and western thought. Besides, China Highlights is making a series of staff training recently, such as the training to improve the staff's English language level and service quality given by Brian Trower (China Highlights Language and marketing consultant) and so on.
