Swiss College Athletes Traveled with China Highlights
A group of Swiss college athletes, who had finished their competitions (including swimming, cycling and shooting) for Shenzhen Universiade 2011 in Shenzhen, finished their traveling in Guilin with China Highlights, August 29, 2011. The right photo is for biking accross Guilin's landmark bridge over the Li River: Liberation Bridge, and you can find the Elephant Trunk Hill at a distance.
The group of Swiss college athletes was quite satisfied with their 6-day Guilin tour. During those 6 days, these athletes had played a lightweight volleyball friendly match with China Highlights’ staff (watch video), rafted on Li River with bamboo rafts, swam in Li River, biked in Guilin urban area and Yangshuo County, learned how to make Chinese dishes, and visited Longsheng County (which is famous for Longji Rice Terrace). According to the feedback e-mail to their travel advisor: Lissy Xu, they love the beautiful Guilin and the village around very much, and among those travel activities, biking in Guilin, rafting on Li River and learning Chinese cooking impressed them the most.
Below are several photos from the Guilin trip.
