China Highlights test its guides
China Highlights has just introduced a new system to test and monitor its English speaking guides. The testing includes both oral and written English and knowledge of the service standards laid down by China Highlights for all guides and drivers. Guides in all major destinations in China were tested to ensure the guides are up-to-date with our services standards. The aim of this testing is to provide our customers the possible best service and the guide is the face of China Highlights and therefore a most important part of our total package. The testing was conducted over several weeks using native English speaking experts.
The testing result was satisfactory. Most of the guides passed with flying colors and were found to be experienced, knowledgeable and had excellent English language ability. A small number did not meet our standards and will need further training before they are qualified to lead China Highlights groups. China Highlights (like all tour providers) selects its guides from a pool of guides in each city however we choose only those who can meet our rigorous standards.
