China International Travel Mart 2004

CITM is the largest travel show in Asia and the key marketplace for professionals in the international tourism industry.  There will be around 2000 booths over an area of 46,000 square meters.  This year is expected to be even bigger and better than 2003, when over 1800 booths were occupied by 1,161 domestic exhibitors, and 650 from overseas.
Overseas exhibitors will be coming from 63 countries and regions, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, Chili, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech, Denmark, Egypt, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong SAR, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Luxembourg, Macao SAR. Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Norway, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Samoa, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Tuvalu, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vanuatu, Zimbabwe. 
 
CITM will be welcoming about 1500 domestic and international buyers, along with at least 10,000 attendees from within the travel industry. There will be two and a half days of business meetings, symposium and press conferences before the Exhibition opens to the public.  CITM organizers anticipate last year’s figure of 30,000 visitors to the exhibition will be well and truly exceeded this year.
