Notice for Passengers on Li River Cruises

The water level of the Li River has fallen to the minimum level allowable for the cruise ships to operate, as substantial rainfall has not been recorded since last July.

We would like to advise passengers of the following:-

l         It will be difficult to finish the cruise on schedule and passengers who are scheduled to leave Guilin by air, train, or bus may not return in time to make their connections. You are advised to your Cancel the Li River Cruise.

l         We will try to make your cruise as pleasant as possible but your arrival in Yangshuo may be delayed substantially.

l         Passengers may be asked to walk along the riverside while the boat is navigating extremely shallow areas of the river. We ask for your co-operation in this matter.

l         Passengers should remain calm if the ship runs aground during the cruise. There is no danger and the crew will handle all eventualities.

We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause and we appreciate for your understanding and cooperation.
