China Domestic Travel Fair 2005 to Open in Guilin

China Domestic Travel Fair 2005 is to be held from the 15^th to the 16^th of April in Guilin. Guilin in Northeast Guangxi province is a tourist city highly recommended by World Tourism Organization.

This fair is to be held at the Guilin International Conference & Exhibition Center, No. 22 Lijiang Road, Guilin. The total exhibition area is 25,000 sq km, with 1500 booths which are divided to three groups: Trade & Discussion area, Personnel Communication area and souvenir & craftwork exhibition area.

It is expected to draw more than 10,000 exhibitors and representatives who will showcase the abundant tourism resources, cultures, ethnic features, and tourism products of each region through many methods. The organizers expect approximately 100,000 visitors for the two-day exhibition.

The China Domestic Travel Fair is held annually and is the largest and most influential event showcasing domestic tourism industry in China. It is the first time that an event of this scale has been held in Guilin. It has attached great attention from the municipal government as well as the local people. The event will help to promote the world image of beautiful Guilin and to further enhance the rich travel resources of Guangxi as well as other regions in west China.
