To meet the great demand for train travel to Tibet, China is scheduled to open a deluxe tourist train to Tibet in next July. The train will start from Xining but no details were given.
There are currently 45 stations along the Qinghai-Tibet railway and each will be redesigned to maximize the areas natural scenery and in the shape of the animals of the area. For example, the Chuma'er Station have the shape of a Tibet antelope, which indicates that the train has reached the place where the animals reside. In addition six of the nine scenery-view platforms including YuzhuPeak, Chuma'erhe River, TuotuoRiver, Buqiangge, Tanggula, Co Nag Lake will be rebuilt and the size will be enlarged to 500 meters long, 12 meters wide and 1.25 meters high.
I have been in this field for 4 years, during which I helped a lot of travelers plan their China trip. I hope my experience in traveling and my patient disposition will help more people who would like to travel to China.
