Snow City of Patala Palace to open to tourists
The director of Tibet Autonomous Region's Relics Bureau has just revealed in a news release that the Patala Palace's Snow City will formally opened to tourists on the 31st May, after a 6 years'maintenance and protection project .
The Snow City refers to buildings at the bottom of the Patala Palace, landmark of Tibet. It covers an area of 50,000 square meters, 170 meters wide from north to south and 317 meters long from west to east, with 22 ancient buildings.
