Launching of Satellite helps to Increase the Local Tourism Income
Recently, people living around Xichang, one of China’s satellite launching bases enjoyed the happiness and interest of the satellite launching. Up to 5 o’clock of October 21st, the scenic spots around Xichang have received more than 30,000 visitors which was multiplied by 3 of before. Now the income of the local tourism reached 30,000,000.
According to Assistant Minister of Tourism, the launching of No.1 Changer’s enjoy the highest popularity since its usage in 1982, which has lasted for 20 years. The launching of satellite was open to the public in 90s of 20th century. Local travel agency has organized tourists to watch the launching. In the beginning, a large number of tourists were attracted by the satellite. But most of the visitors came from the nearby cities. But it is different from the past. The launching of the No.1Changer attracted many media workers and many tourists from other places for No.1Changer’s important role in man-made satellite.
According to Chen Le, the assistant minister of tourism, if the launching of the satellite is successful, there will be a series of cerebrating activities including the dancing with local people. At that time, visitors can dance with the local girls around fire to enjoy an unforgettable night.
