The First Guilin Taohuawan Beer Festival to Hold

The First Guilin Taohuawan Beer Festival will be held from September 30th to October 4th, 2012 in Lujia New Village on the bank of Taohua River, and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street.

More than 30 cultural activities will be arranged, including sharing a huge moon cake, guessing lantern riddles, Guangxi Opera performances and Han Chinese clothing shows. A series of beer competitions, such as beer drinking relays, are the highlights of this festival.

Taohua River (Peach Blossom River), is one of the attractions of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes in Guilin. Spring scenery of peach blossoms along the river is charming and well worth a trip.
